Your home away from home

The original farmhouse, dating back to the late 19th century and completely renovated, is located inside a natural amphitheatre on sloping hilly slopes completely covered with vineyards. Today, the Cascina Bertolotto offers hospitality in a relaxed and home-made atmosphere.
We offer seven comfortable rooms with heating systems and private bathroom with shower. Externally, large spaces are available to our guests, adults and children; Pets are welcome (with notice).
Guests can choose from a wide range of recreational activities such as guided tours of our vineyards and wineries, introduction to viticulture and winemaking, tasting of local food specialties and products of the estate.
The area around the estate and its own location surrounded by woods and hills are ideal for leisurely walks and bike rides to enjoy the greenery and sounds and smells of the countryside.

An ideal starting point

Located in the municipality of Spigno Monferrato in the province of Alexandria, Cascina Bertolotto is ideally located compared to the main tourist destinations in the area.

The Ligurian Riviera with its beaches, tourist resorts and attractions is in fact just over thirty minutes’ drive from the Estate, therefore Cascina Bertolotto is an ideal place to stay away from the confusion and where to find physical and mental refreshment after an intense day at sea, appreciating an excellent glass of wine.

The Langhe, with their capital Alba, are also ideally located a forty-minute drive from the Estate. From here you can set off on daily excursions to discover a territory declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cascina Bertolotto is also an ideal place to stay to participate in the many events that are held in the territory, first of all the annual Alba Truffle International Fair.

The Estate is also located in the vicinity of several medieval villages of the Langa of the Bormida Valley including Roccaverano, Mombaldone, Denice, many of them part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages of Italy.
